Hello everyone, i just joined Tasking manager to contribute to “Nepal Flood 2026 Response - Lower Trishuli and Bhote Koshi Corridor [BUILDING]” however, the system won’t allow me to select any area locked or unlocked. Attached is the message it shows. can anybody help please or direct me to someone? Thank you!
I suspect you mean https://tasks.hotosm.org/ ? If yes, the fast response you will probably get is from the hot-team - look at Contact Us - HOT Website for example.
Some of them are probably here as well, but its firstly a HOT thing, not a OSM thing per se.

Hi. You’ll probably get a response from the mapper support section of hotosm.slack.com
If you are a brand new mapper, you will not be able to map on this project. The local community requires intermediate level mappers. Probably for image quality reasons.
Please try a different easier building project to help you develop your mapping skills. It won’t take long to change mapper level once you get the hang of it.
