access=no render on ferry route

Hi
I added access=no to this route=ferry while the service is cancelled until some development is completed.

Will the route be rendered differently now, such as other ways with access=no are rendered with the red colour on the standard layer of the openstreetmap.org site.

We have no special rendering for ferries access. If you think it should, please open the ticket and let’s think how should it look like:

Vehicular ferries don’t have different rendering in the way that roadways and footways and similar do, so adding access=no to would result in non-vehicular pedestrian-only ferries appearing to be not in use for pedestrians too.
I now think adding access=no has very limited usefulness for route=ferry and likely only useful when a ferry route is temporarily not operational.
In view of that, I won’t open a ticket on GitHub.
