2000+ vehicles over 3 years GPS data

Hello,

My friend owns a GPS vehicle tracking company. He is willing to donate the GPS data his company has collected from 2000+ vehicles over last 3 years. This data is in proprietary format. But, it can be converted into GPX format.

Is there a tool by which I can see the data first to decide which traces should be exported. I think over 60-70% of the traces will be over the roads which OSM already has.
